Key Responsibilities:

Role Summary

The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) plays a critical role in ensuring the overall quality, performance, and stability of the Restaurant Automation System being developed by Octagon IT LLC for 18thnindian LLC. The SDET bridges the gap between development and testing by designing, building, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and tools to validate all layers of the application — frontend, backend, API, database, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for Java-based backend and React-based frontend components.
• Develop API-level test automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
• Create and execute performance, load, and stress testing scenarios using JMeter or similar tools.
